Adadiya Recipe

Ingredients: 1 cup urad dal flour, 5 tbsp warm milk, 3 tbsp ghee (plus ½ cup extra), ½ cup khoya, 2 tspgond (fried), ½ cup assorted nuts (finely chopped), 1 tsp cardamom powder, ½ tsp clove powder, 1 tsp sooth, 1 cup sugar syrup (1 string consistency)

Method:

–       Rub flour with milk and ghee until it resembles bread crumbs.

–       In a pan, heat the leftover ghee and add the flour mixture to it. Continue to cook until it is well-browned.

–       Add gond and khoya to it. Stir well and keep aside.

–       Heat the sugar syrup and add the above mixture to it.

–       Allow the mixture to cool slightly and add nuts to it.

–       Knead it gently and make ladoos out of it.

–       Serve warm. These will stay fresh in an air-tight jar for up to 4-5 days.
